knowledge is one of the few things that can't be taken away

Most of the people that are part of the vulnerable communities where we work have little access to quality education, economic resources, shelter, security and even food. It is important to educate people because once knowledge is shared, it grows. Through our educational modules, we teach people how to grow organic food in any space, whether it's a 10 acre farm or 10 square feet. We also use a farm-to-table curriculum where we teach how to make sauces, aioli, pastas, batters and much more using the things that are grown in the garden. We teach culinary principals that would be of use in a commercial kitchen.
