Through this program, our goal is to reduce chronic malnutrition in vulnerable communities by feeding families in extreme poverty a plate of highly nutritional food throughout the week. We seek to lift the dignity of people through culinary arts. We are focusing our operations in one of the poorest sectors, called Siloé in the city of Cali, Colombia. In order to maintain the reduction in malnutrition it is important to create social transformation in the community. To accomplish such transformation we will be leading a pioneering program establishing a community restaurant. It’s kitchen will be used to feed children and the restaurant will offer its diners creative food in an aesthetically-pleasing environment at a moderate price. This will create jobs for the community. We want to create a strong economic engine for the people of Siloé by helping convert it into a top destination for gastro-tourism in Colombia.
